Springville-Griffith Institute Central School District was first established in 1830 but centralized in 1941 and 1953 to combine 33 separate neighboring schools. Located 35 minutes south of Buffalo and covers the communities of Collins, Colden, Glenwood, East Concord, and Springville. SGI currently services about 1,800 students and has one of the largest areas of any New York district at nearly 141 square miles.
The Business Office at Springville-Griffith Institute CSD is responsible for the oversight and management of district finances that are needed to support the educational mission of the district.
Members of the Board of Education are elected to terms of three years and serve without pay. They are responsible for district finances and for formulating educational and school district policies. Meetings are mainly held at the Springville Middle School LMC. Check our District Calendar for dates and times.

Springville-Griffith Institute has two Elementary (K-5), one Middle (6-8) and one High School (9-12) building. Each building includes a variety of academic programs, performing and visual arts, and the opportunity to accelerate in English, math, science, social studies and foreign language as well as providing a variety of club and sporting opportunities.
