After last weeks performance vs Falconer, Cole Baker received a Connolly Cup nomination (HS Football; best player) which is a nice honor that only a select few athletes from around the section earn each week.
To date, Cole has rushed 59 times for 332 yards and a TD this season. Since stepping in for the injured AJ Slippy, Cole has averaged 151 yards a game on the ground at a clip of better than 6 yards per carry.
Head Coach Brian Kader shares, “Cole has not only been playing solid on defense but has really stepped up to bring stability to our running game. Each week that passes, he gets more comfortable with our scheme and we look forward to having him continue to improve.”
