Donated E-Books Make An Impact In Nepal

Students in Kathmandu Nepal experience their first e-books thanks to a recent donation by Springville-Griffith Institute. According to school officials at the Career Building International Academy the devices are meant to help bridge achievement gaps and reignite a love of reading among today’s tech-oriented students. The e-books join the dozens of paperbacks that have been donated by Springville-Griffith over the past few years. Retired teacher Helen Williams and past Board of Education Member Mel Williams have led the partnership between the two organizations and are shown in the photos below.
