SGI Maker’s Market – May 15th

Located in the parking lot behind the high school (290 North Buffalo Street, Springville, NY)

The students of the Entrepreneurship class, a collaboration between the Business and Agriculture departments at SGI, are hosting an outdoor market for students, staff and alumni to share their products and services.  This event is open to the public and is meant to highlight the talents of the people connected to SGI.  The class will be selling hanging baskets, potted plants, succulents, eggs and other products.  Some students in the class have also created their own mini endeavors which include; jewelry, pet rabbits, herb gardens, unique planters, and miscellaneous products. Other vendors include 49 Coffeehouse and Eatery, Snow Child Clothing Company, The Little Darling Shop, Ploetz’s Maple Syrup, Shining Star Cattle Company and more.  The market will also feature wood products produced by the Technology department and custom artwork from the Art Department.  Wendell’s Chicken BBQ will be on site selling Chicken dinners with proceeds from the dinners benefitting the class of 2021.  Stop on by and see what great things students and alumni of SGI are doing.  The event will run rain or shine and will follow Covid-19 protocols established by the DOH.
