It is maple syrup season at SES! Mr. Chaddock and the fifth-grade class led students through the syrup-making process, from collecting the sap to boiling in the Sugar Shack to taste testing the final product.
Maple syrup will be for sale in the SES lobby next week. Half pint $5, pint $10 and Quart $20.
A special thank you to the four local maple syrup producers who donated a Leader sap collection box which allows the sap to be collected more easily from around the school grounds.
