The varsity girls tennis team continued their dominance over Division 3 by sweeping Depew 5-0.
In first singles play Evelyn Berry was excellent winning 6-0, 6-0. Evelyn maintained a high level of play throughout her match.
In second singles play Natalie Rumfola won 6-0, 6-1. Natalie was in cruise control as she dictated most of the points and hit some terrific shots.
In first doubles action Taylor Wells and her partner (Peyton Wells) won 3-6, 6-1 and 7-6 (7-5). The girls battled back from some early adversity and turned their play around. The sisters found their footing as they made some fantastic shots from the baseline and the net to get the win.
In second doubles action Jackie Thompson and Alexis Beckwith won 6-1, 6-0. The girls had some great teamwork throughout the match and got stronger as each game passed. It was an amazing showing!
In third doubles actions Teerada Dickson and Gianna Nevins won 6-4, 6-2. The girls showed great hustle and shot making as they never quit on a point.
In exhibition action Kenz Neff and Kailyn Sprague won 6-2. The duo worked well together and served at a high level.
The girls are now 6-4 overall and a perfect 6-0 in league play. The girls will host Lancaster this afternoon, come out and support this great team!
